The next General Meeting of the Cloyne and District Historical Society will be the launch of the Bloomberg Connects app. Throughout the spring and summer months, CDHS members have been researching, writing and narrating descriptions of key exhibits in the Pioneer Museum.

This project is to recognize/honour all Community Members- Past & Present. It is a “HERITAGE WALL” where members of the community can provide a plaque for their families who have helped build our history and continue to build our community.

On Monday October 16th at 1PM in the Barrie Community Hall, the Cloyne & District Historical Society will host historian Chris Anstead. In his presentation “The colonization roads of Eastern Ontario, and the villages they produced”. One of those roads, of course, runs right by our Pioneer Museum. Come out and bring your friends.
