Join us for our annual opening of the Cloyne Pioneer Museum on Saturday, June 22nd. Meet the Museum staff, learn about the history of the Museum and listen to the New Pickled Chicken band! Opening ceremonies begin at 11 am.

In his 1969 listing brochure, John Savigny offered a cottage on Mazinaw Lake for $5775. A large home in Denbigh with five bedrooms was offered for $5500. Dot describes how COFA (Conservationists of Frontenac-Addington) began and became a volunteer-run fish hatchery in Ontario. From 1993 to 2015, COFA’s volunteer efforts stocked millions of pickerel and thousands of speckled trout in local lakes.

COME ALL YOU JOLLY FELLERS! Tales of the lumber camp told and sung by Herman Keller (played by his grandson, Joe Grant). Please join us on Monday, March 18th, 2024 at the Barrie Community Hall in Cloyne. This meeting will also be the Cloyne and District Historical Society AGM. Everyone is welcome!
