Calendars

Over the past 18 years the Cloyne and District Historical Society has produced a collection of calendars which we feel have shown our local history in both verbal and pictorial fashion. They are open for all and are searchable in the collection shown below (use the search bar in the navigation area).

2020 Calendar

It is the 17th annual calendar and continues to be the main fundraiser for the Society.

2019 Calendar

This calendar features many of the historic buildings of the area.  Some are gone but many remain.

2018 Calendar

The focus for this year’s calendar is the lodges and campgrounds of the area.

The Northbrook Baseball Team, the Bence family, Flinton Public School and Walter Meeks are all highlighted in this calendar.

2011 Calendar

This calendar covers Ernie Jackson’s bus, a baseball team, the Bon Echo Inn, Girl Guides and more.

2010 Calendar

This calendar is a mixture of early photos about tourism and families who still have roots in the community.

2009 Calendar

The Lumberman’s Picnic was popular in the 1940s. Salmond’s Resort and Myer’s Cave Lodge were in full operation.

2008 Calendar

This calendar features historic buildings and activities from the Ore Chimney Mine to Alligator Boats.

CDHS Extends Free Membership Through 2022

Membership allows you to take full advantage of what the Society and Museum have to offer. Members are eligible to vote at the AGM and to run for a position on the Board of Directors. The annual fee has usually been $10, but this continues to be waived for 2022 due to the restrictions the COVID pandemic has placed on activities.
