Cindy Austin is a family history researcher with a special interest in genetic genealogy. She has been researching families in the Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, and Hastings Counties where her family is from for over twenty years. On February 19th she will briefly discuss the records and strategies used in genealogical research as well as demonstrate how she uses DNA results to corroborate the paper trail of family research and how DNA is used to help individuals find known cousins and unknown birth relatives.
