This booklet, researched by Club Historian Lion Rex Henry and edited by President Lion Nawar El Khouri Hage, was presented at the dedication of the Friendship Arch in Northbrook on April 12th, 2023.

The Charter Night of the Land O’ Lakes Club was March 29th, 1969.  Fifty-four years ago, the Lions Club was chartered on January 22, 1969 with 38 members. The charter event was held at the North Addington Education Centre in Cloyne with Weldon Bahm as the first President and the Trenton Lions as the sponsoring club.

The Charter night was attended by Dignitaries from the Lions, the sponsoring club, International Past President Fisher, community of Land O’ Lakes and friends of the Charter members.
